Furnova started out of a straightforward frustration: too many households were either paying premium prices for name-brand kitchenware they didn’t need, or settling for cheap goods that broke within a season. Neither option made sense to us.
We’re based in Ulu Tiram, Johor, and we know what Malaysian kitchens actually look like — small but busy, expected to handle everything from a quick breakfast to a full rendang for twenty guests. The gear in those kitchens needs to be practical, sturdy, and easy to replace without drama when the time comes.
So we built a catalogue around that reality. We source cookware, kitchen tools, storage solutions, and household accessories from manufacturers that meet our basic standard: the product has to do what it claims, and it has to do it for a reasonable amount of time. We test before we list. If something doesn’t hold up in use, it doesn’t stay in the range.
Pricing is kept fair by keeping our operations lean. We don’t mark up heavily to fund a big marketing budget or a flashy shopfront. What we invest in is stock quality, packing integrity, and a dispatch process that gets orders out the door quickly.
Our customer base is a mix — home cooks stocking up a new kitchen, parents replacing worn gear, small food businesses looking for reliable bulk supplies, and people hunting for practical gifts. We try to serve all of them the same way: honestly, without overselling, and with a clear process if anything goes wrong.
Furnova is still growing. We add products as we find ones that clear our bar, and we listen to what customers ask for. The goal hasn’t changed since the first order went out the door — give people useful things at fair prices, and do it reliably.
